EIRMC Visitor Policy Modified For Flu Season

As flu season is arriving, Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center is modifying its visiting policy to let only adults in. As of Wednesday, October 27 only visitors over 18 are allowed. It only applies to visitors only. It doesn’t apply to children seeking medical care. Those visitors must also wear masks at all times, even when visiting their loved one. The one exception to the mask rule is if the visitor is eating or drinking.

Filiberto Aguilar, mother of one Thunder Ridge student thinks EIRMC changing visiting times is good if they change it because there’s more security and better attendance to the patients. She agrees with the new rules they put in place.

Melody Aguilar said she thinks about the EIRMC changing their visit time is good sometimes and other times are bad. What she agrees with is that the visitors get to go home more early and people 18 and over could visit loved ones or family. That some kids get to see them in rooms.
