The year 2020 has been a little scary and weird for all of us, but the best thing that could happen for us this year was Netflix’s new movie called Enola Holmes. Holmes was released on September 23rd. The film Enola Holmes has been a successful film because it gives a great message.

The film is a two-hour movie and had a great ability to make the audience anxious for what was going to happen next. The movie was such an instant, big success that people were wondering and commenting if they were going to film a part two of Enola Holmes.

The film shows many ways of how anyone has potential, and how it’s up to the individual to change or make a better future for yourself or for the world.  It stars Millie Bobby Brown, from Stranger Things, as Enola, Henry Cavill, Superman from recent DC movies, as Sherlock, and Sam Clavin, from The Hunger Games series, as Mycroft. The story follows Enola, 16 years old, as she searches for her mom, Eudoria, played by Helena Bottom Carter, after she goes missing on Enola’s sixteenth birthday.

Amy Sandoval said “ The film was very fun to watch. I felt as if we were a part of it when Enola would look at the camera and talk directly to the screen.’’

Reviews of Enola Holmes have said how amazing and extraordinary Enola was throughout the movie, and how she was brave for going alone and standing up to her older brothers, Sherlock and Mycroft. She wanted to prove to both of her brothers that she could make a change.

Susana Rosales said, “ I love movies that leave great messages in them. Hope there is a part two.”

I highly recommend watching this movie if you would want to have some adventure and a good time watching it with friends and family.
