Toy Story 4 was the film long awaited by fans that fell in love with the first movie in 1995, and  it was finally released June 21, 2019.  It has been about nine years since Toy Story 3 was released.

The film has pulled an amazing review of 97% on Rotten Tomatoes. Many viewers gave it an 8.1 out of 10 stars.

Toy Story 4 is a  family-friendly, fictional fantasy animation film that picks up after the last film, where Andy, the toys’ original owner, heads off to college and donates all of his toys to his neighbor, a little girl named Bonnie. Bonnie enjoys them more than Andy would’ve at college, and Andy knows that by the end scene.  The 3rd film left the audience with a melancholy, yet almost hopeful feeling for the future of the toys, but the goodbye of the character Andy.

In the new film, Woody feels disregarded and neglected by Bonnie, and in return gets the impression he is responsible to make her happy, even if she’s not playing with him. He misses Andy, and is still loyal to him even after he’s gone off to college. This makes Woody doubt himself in wanting to be Bonnie’s toy and the situation he’s in. Does he still love being Bonnie’s toy, or would he be happier somewhere else?

Fans, would explain this one as “emotional” according to Vulture.com. All in all, fans wish Woody and the gang the best of luck with all of their future adventures. And fans will always hope to see it in… maybe another movie?
