Guys And Dolls Musical At Thunder Ridge

    Thunder Ridge had their first musical April 25th through April 27th at 7 pm.

    Prices for students were 5 dollars for a ticket but adult tickets were 7 dollars at Thunder Ridges auditorium.

    “We are all super excited for this musical!” Andrew Cziep, a Student at Thunder Ridge, is apart of this musical. “We’ve all put a lot of practice and effort into this. We started practicing at the beginning of the tri and we’ve started 4 hour rehearsals every day after school for the past two and a half weeks.”

    Cziep says he personally loves the story and is excited for an audience to come and experience the same love of the story and characters as him.

    The musical is about a gambler named Nathan Detroit (Jaydn Colletti), who has few options for the location of his big craps game. He Needs $1,000 to pay a garage owner to host the game, so Nathan then bets Sky Masterson (Andrew Cziep) that Sky cannot get Sarah Brown (Mckenna Stevens), who is someone with very high morals and standards, out on a date. With some hesitation, Sky manages to negotiate a date with her in exchange for bringing people into her mission. Meanwhile, Nathan’s longtime fiancée, Adelaide (Makenna Serr), wants him to make things official and marry her.

    The play is choreographed by Thea Disney and Lorin Michaelson. Orchestra director is Jonathan Crocker. The Vocal Director is Booklynn Gardner. Director of this show is Jordan Cammock.
