After being canceled for two years due to the pandemic, the Coachella Music and Arts Festival is back and running from April 15th to April 24th. As the first weekend passed, people are raving over the performances. The headliners were Harry Styles, Billie Eilish, Ye, and Swedish House Mafia (with The Weeknd).

There were many others following the headliners; the most notable being Doja Cat, Megan Thee Stallion, Cuco, Beach Bunny, Big Sean, and more.

Ariana Linzel gave insight on weekend one, saying, “It was so much fun, dude. I felt like I was running around everywhere to get to see different performances. I loved Billie’s set, but I think my favorite was by far Doja [Cat]. She really has a way of making a crowd feel alive and you can’t help but want to dance with her!” Denzel Lyona shared the same feelings, saying that “Doja had the best set of the whole weekend. She should’ve been one of the headliners.”

The pair also stated that they always prefer coming on the first weekend of the event, rather than the second. Linzel said that “weekend one is where you meet people, like influencers and other cool people. Weekend two is where the fun sort of fizzles out and is overshadowed by the drug users.”

With weekend one wrapping up, many people are still very excited to go to weekend two, despite the bad reputation it has.
