World Cup Preview

As the 2022 world cup approaches as the world cup is in Qatar next November, we take a look at the 8 groups that will be fighting for the world cup trophy. In the group stage 8 groups, 4 teams in each, and each playing 1 game against each other. The top 2 of each group will go to the knockout stage. In group A we have the host country Qatar, Ecuador, Senegal, and the Netherlands. Qatar will open the world cup as the host country.
Group B contains England, Iran, the United States, and the winner of the European qualifiers The United States qualified for the world cup for the first time since 2008 and will face a familiar foe in England.
Group C is Argentina, Saudi Arabia, Mexico, and Poland. Argentina is coming off a round of 16 loss to France, and Mexico also lost in the round of 16 to Brazil.
Group D is France and a world cup playoff between Denmark and Tunisia. France is the defending World Cup champions.
Group E Spain, World Cup playoff winner, Germany, and Japan. Spain and Germany were not good at the last World Cup and are hoping to improve their records at this one.
Group is Belgium, Canada, Morroco, and Croatia. Belgium is rated as the #1 team in the world, and Canada qualified for the first time in 30+ years.
Group G contains Brazil, Serbia, Switzerland, and Cameroon. Brazil is ranked 1 in South America and is currently the projected winner of the World Cup. Switzerland faced Brazil in the last World Cup in the group stage, resulting in a 1-1 tie.
Group H, the final group, is Portugal, Ghana, Uruguay, and South Korea. Uruguay knocked Portugal out in the round of 16 last World Cup, so this should turn out to be an interesting group.
The World Cup is going to be an amazing event with lots of goals, heartbreaks, upsets, and just pure fun.
