In March, Coca-Cola announced a new limited-edition flavor: Coca-Cola Starlight, but now they have moved on to even weirder flavors

Coca-Cola Starlight will be a red version, or with regular coke but the newest version called Coca-Cola Zero Sugar Bytes will supposedly taste like pixels.

The Senior Director of Coca-Cola, Oana Vlad, told CNN that the beverage “makes the intangible taste of the pixel tangible. The Coca-Cola taste you know and love with bright elements upfront and refreshing with a finish.”

What exactly pixels will taste like, many are unsure. Thunder Ridge Senior and Coca-Cola fan Bryn Kirkendoll says, “I’m definitely up to try the new flavor, but I am a little skeptical of it. Sometimes I wonder why they mess with the perfection of regular coke.”

Coca-Cola discontinued many of its flavors a few years ago in order to promote its core product. Now however they are introducing new creative flavors in order to reach more markets.

This new Coca-Cola Zero Sugar Byte is hopeful to reach the gaming population, even though the name is a mouthful. As “Byte” appeared late in March on an island in Fortnite. The island, named Pixel Point was created by Coca-Cola and its partners PWR, which creates virtual Fortnite experiences.

Fortnite Players can play different games inside a Coke Bottle at Pixel Point.

Now customers can get a Byte in real life. Coke is counting on this to be the biggest market for its new soda.

So get out there all you Fortnite fans and try the newest Coca-Cola and learn what pixels can taste like.
