Rumors over rappers Nicki Minaj and Lil Baby collaborating were huge for the last two weeks. Finally, on January 26 Minaj tweeted an announcement, the song will be released on Friday, February 4th. It will be titled ‘Do We Have A Problem?’ and features a trap beat. Many fans suspect this will be the lead single for Minaj’s fifth studio album, nicknamed NM5.

Nicki will also be on The Late Show With James Corden on Thursday, February 3rd, and will hopefully answer some questions about her album and upcoming public appearances. The live show sold out the day it was announced Nicki would be a guest.

In an Instagram Live, Nicki stated, “I tapped a little bit into the acting bag with this so I wanna thank Cory [Hardict] and I wanna thank Joseph [Sikora]… I’m gonna post the trailer [for the song] when I get off live okay?” She also teased the idea of two songs with Lil Baby, saying that her fans are in for a ‘real special treat.’

The trailer for the music video features a heavy storyline with Minaj being assigned to interview a man who is a self-proclaimed ‘high power hitter.’

Marissa Hutchinson gave her thoughts, stating, “I listen to Nicki a lot, so her finally releasing new music is really exciting! I’m happy they’re going for it, and I’ll definitely take a listen!” Many fans share the sentiment and excitement. A song, video, a public appearance, and another possible song are on the way!
