JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Special Event Streams Live from Japan

On April 4, 2021, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure the Animation Special Event: Joestar Inherited Soul was held and streamed live from Japan. During the event, the voice actors for the main characters of each season answered questions followed by reenacting the best moments of each of their characters. At the very end of the event, part 6 of the series, Stone Ocean, was confirmed to be getting adapted into an anime.

The voice actress for the next main character Jolyne let out her feelings on playing the main character for a series she adored since junior high. Fairouz Ai, the voice actress, stated that it had been her dream to work on the series and that she became a voice actor because of the manga series.

The anime was set to release on Netflix on 12/1/21, featuring the voices of the previously mentioned Fairouz Ai, Mutsumi Tamura, Mariya Ise, Atsumi Tanezaki, Daisuke Namikawa, Daisuke Ono, and Yuichiro Umehara. Since the announcement, fans have anxiously been awaiting the release.

Several leaks were released since the announcement, making the fans even more excited. The opening song was released around the 23rd of November 2021, and the majority of fans are receiving it well.

Ethan Lebel gave his thoughts, stating, “I haven’t watched Jojo in a while; I only got up to around season 2. But seeing all of the excitement around this new season makes me want to pick it up again! The designs of the characters are super cool, and from what I’ve heard this new season is a big deal.”
