The holiday season can get pretty expensive with the food, presents, and decorations. So the student council at TRHS has created the TRHS Pantry Patheon Food Drive to help. This food pantry is accepting food and money donations to help out families in need at TRHS. 

Paige Spears is a food drive coordinator with STUCO for TRHS, and she has partnered with Rigby’s STUCO on this food drive. Spears collects all the food and money donated from the school and its students. She is so happy to be able to help families in need around the holiday season. One of the best donations the food drive has received is 300 cans from Mrs. Swindler, a history teacher at TRHS.  

Along with donating to those in need, there is a contest between TRHS and RHS to see which school can collect the most donations. The school that wins gets a long lunch, so students at TRHS, if you want a long lunch start donating today. The deadline is December 7, so make sure to bring any money or food you’d like to donate to those in need.
