At approximately 11:50 on October 31st, a witness outside  The Common Cents Store at 1003 S Boulevlevard called 911 to report a robbery. Police found 27 year-old Kaden Wray, and he was promptly arrested. Wray was armed with a knife and asked the cashier at Common Cents for the money they had in the register.

During the 911 phone call, the witness described the suspect and gave a license plate number, which led to the quick arrest.

An anonymous Thunder Ridge student said,” I think it must have been terrifying to be in a situation like that because you won’t know if you were going to die.” She continued that she didn’t know what they could have done better because the police handled the situation so well.

The anonymous student would like to tell the officers how great they did in the situation, and thank them for their work.

Seventh Grade Black Canyon Middle School student, Isaac Labra said that he thinks the cashier did a good job giving him the money because if he started to fight back the suspect might have hurt the employee.
