On October 30th the Booming Thunder Marching Band will be heading to their final competition of the year! The Band will be performing their show Legacy, which consists of the three songs “Seeds of Legends,” “Destiny,” and “Journey.” These songs  have been written and composed by Micheal Esplin and Trent Moncour with help from Alayna Earl with writing and setting the show

The competition will consist of multiple bands from multiple high schools from all over the state of Idaho.  These bands will be performing the shows they have prepared and worked on.  The competition will take place at Madison High School on Saturday, October 30th (Time Unknown) with an entry fee of $5-10 for anyone who would like to come and watch the different bands compete.

Trent Moncour, the Drum Captain and one of the composers of the show, believes their preparation will pay off. “I think that the show will go really well, we see the vision we want to create and we’re prepared to give that vision to the audience.”

Micheal Esplin, the Senior Drum Major and one of the composers, has said that “the band has been practicing very hard for this last competition, and we’re only getting better from where we are. We will reach the ideal spot where we want to be.”
