Minecraft Championships Halloween Editions! Cyan Isn’t Winning

Alchemy McMurtrey, Staff Writer

The Minecraft Championship, or MCC, for this month will be held at 8 p.m. BST Saturday, Oct. 23 streaming live from both YouTube and Twitch. The new Halloween-themed teams are very interesting and their final placements could vary widely.

How teams perform is dependent on many factors. One of the biggest is game order and team synergy. A team that most expect to come in dead last could win by a landslide if the game order treats them well and they work together effectively. Hope for Cyan Centipedes’ fans.

The team, consisting of popular players Wilbur Soot, CaptainSparklez, Ranboo, and Sneegsnag has three curses. Soot, Sparklez, and Ranboo all have a curse on them. The team collectively hopes that their curses will cancel each other out instead of joining forces and leaving them in the dust. The best game order possible for them would leave them in ninth, as predicted by the All Things MCC YouTube channel.

Another team with a seemingly obvious placement is the Orange Oozes. GizzyGazza, Mefs, Tapl, and Krtzzy are all considered top ten players, especially in PVP, which makes up a large portion of the event games. The general consensus on them is that they will win by a landslide. This is supported by All Things MCC,which predicts that if they get their best game order they would be in first with 18716 points.

This reporter expects the top three to be Orange, Mustard Mummies, and Aqua Abominations. Followed by Red Ravens, Fuchsia Frankensteins, Blue Banshees, Violet Vampires, Lime Liches, Green Goblins, and Cyan in last. Although MCC is a very hard event to predict and anything could happen.
