Nicki Minaj has consistently teased her new album, which her fans are nicknaming ‘NM5’, to go along with her to-be-released docuseries on HBO Max. 

The 38-year-old rapper has been doing features all of 2020 and 2021, some of her collaborators being Doja Cat, BIA, Sada Baby, and Jesy Nelson. In November of 2020, she announced her six-part documentary series with HBO Max, which is yet to be delivered. Minaj has also stated multiple times that she’s working on her album, even posting a snippet of a song featuring R&B singers Brandy, Tamar Braxton, and Keke Wyatt. Fans were raving over the snippet, excited to hear some R&B on NM5.

Athena Costello, hip hop enthusiast, in regards to the album stated, “I’ve been a fan of Nicki Minaj since I was young, so her name brings a lot of nostalgia to me and I would say I’m a fan. I’m excited for her new album, and I’ll listen to it the day it’s released. Solo music from her is overdue.” Fans are ready for that album.

Costello continued, “Regarding the docuseries, I would love to watch it and get to see a more personal side of Nicki.” While she is one fan out of millions, the love for Nicki never stops and is only growing.

While taking care of her baby boy, who recently turned 1, Nicki has continued to state that she is still working hard on her album and it should be released within the next year.
